Several reviews describe refunds being denied or only partly issued after returns. Customers also mention unexpected return fees, refunds that arrive late or not at all, and repeat mistakes with incorrect items. These service issues show up as the most common negative theme.
Some customers say high-priced items feel low quality, pointing to thin or cardboard-like fabric. Others say the leggings earn their price, creating a clear split in value perceptions. Price complaints largely come down to expectations versus the actual material and fit.
Reviewers mention slow deliveries, lost packages, and orders stuck as pending without updates. One review flags a fraudulent lookalike website, an uncommon but serious claim. A few people report easy returns and quick refunds, though these comments appear less often.
Reviews split between strong praise for durable, high-quality Takara Shine leggings and complaints about fabric that feels see-through or poor. Multiple shoppers report pulled threads or disappointment on the first wear. Positive feedback sits alongside recurring reports of defects.
Customers often describe little or no tracking and minimal replies from customer service. Some reviews say the site showed items as available even when warehouses were out of stock. Communication problems come up repeatedly around shipping and returns.
Most negative accounts focus on fulfillment and returns, not just product design. Positive experiences tend to center on fit, plus occasional fast refunds or deliveries. Overall, the picture stays split between dependable product satisfaction and frequent service problems.

First off, Carbon38 has the horrible customer service I’ve ever come across. I placed an order on August 12. It shipped quickly and the delivery was done on August 25. Great! That is a plus. But then, the quality of the leggings I had ordered was not great at all. They looked awful. They were so expensive, so it was a surprise to receive such a horrible product. The seams weren't even intact when I bought them and the measurements given were not right either. I contacted customer service to demand a refund and was told to wait until the end of the week of August. I did so, and when I didn't receive any update from them, I contacted customer service again. Once again, I was told to wait until the end of the next week. Not helpful at all. I'm pretty sure this package is lost, and I won’t get my money back. Buyer beware!
