Echelon
Reviews & Experiences

Some reviewers describe Echelon bikes as sturdy, quiet, and helpful for sticking to a workout routine. More reviews point to repeated software breakdowns, devices that rely on an active subscription, and service tickets that never get resolved. Many customers also mention long waits for parts, missed technician visits, and refunds that were refused.

What reviewers often mention

🎯

Service quality

Service complaints often involve technicians who do not show up, repairs that drag on, and spare parts that are not provided. Several reviewers also say they paid for installation or delivery that never happened, and that promised refunds are still unresolved.

💰

Value for money

Multiple reviewers say key features and performance metrics are locked behind a paid membership, leaving the hardware unusable for some people without the subscription. Some praise the bike’s price and build, but those comments appear less often than complaints about paywalls and subscriptions.

User experience

Users repeatedly mention app and device issues, including forced updates, frequent logouts, dropped connections mid-class, and machines that require an internet connection to work. A smaller number report smooth, routine-building use, but those stories are relatively rare.

🔧

Product quality

Some reviews call the hardware quiet, sturdy, and easy to assemble. Others describe defective units, missing parts on arrival, tablet crashes, recurring error codes, and software updates that fail again and again.

📞

Communication

Customers mention phone numbers that do not connect, slow replies, repeated requests to send videos, and long delays in booking repairs. Several reviews say these communication issues made returns, refunds, or quick fixes harder to get.

Overall experience

Reviews split sharply between strong satisfaction with the physical hardware and frustration with the software, subscription limits, and after-sales support. Good experiences with the equipment stand in stark contrast to frequent complaints about usability and service.

Harry J. Harrison 5/5

I don't normally write reviews but felt I had to. Due to the COVID 19 pandemic that limited outdoor activities, I decided to look for a great bike for indoor cardio workouts and end up getting the Echelon EX-5 bike. To my surprise, it was easy to assemble & I began using it right away. The bike is very sturdy and extremely quiet making it a perfect fit for our needs especially living in an apartment building. I use my iPad to record my miles, calories, etc. on the Echelon app. For the price, it is quite a deal. I definitely recommend this bike for cardio enthusiasts and for active individuals seeking a gym-worthy bike offering a different degree of workout.
