Service comments split in two. Many reviews point to long production times, the wrong model arriving, and cancellations or returns being refused. Others describe quick delivery, smooth exchanges, and staff speeding up an order.
Several buyers say the quality matches the price and describe the shoes as reasonably priced luxury. A separate set of complaints mentions surprise customs charges and refunds that never arrived, which undercuts the value.
Many reviewers mention a great fit, comfort right away, and design details that draw compliments. Recurring notes include insoles that need breaking in, straps that need adjusting, and sizing that varies enough to require exchanges or local repairs.
Most positive reviews highlight quality leather, careful handwork, and custom drawings being reproduced accurately. Another group reports glue marks, strong paint odors, non-leather materials, and build defects; these reports often come alongside trouble getting a return.
Common complaints include support not replying, tracking stuck on “In production,” and email threads going quiet. Positive reviews mention prompt reassurance, pleasant staff interactions, and clear updates when the team pushed an order through faster.
When orders are finished and delivered, buyers often come back, praise the craftsmanship, and leave high ratings. When orders stall or don’t get resolved, reviews often mention chargebacks, scam accusations, and very low-star scores.

I really do not understand why so many negative reviews about Girotti Shoes. Well, at fast I was skeptical because of the reviews and the prices seemed too low for custom and handcrafted leather shoes. But I am so glad I decided to order! I'm really pleased with my new shoes and will order others. The leather looks very classy and expensive. Exactly as advertised. Couldn’t believe! They are comfortable and stylish! I am complimented on them daily. The customer service was outstanding from that far away. I’m so excited that I tell everyone about the Girotti Shoes website! Totally recommend!
