The range is excellent, I have taken it up to 30 km without any problems. It is a very nice bike for the price, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good bike for the price. The battery is good. I am very happy with it. It charges from 0% in about 1 and a half hours, but it takes a lot of time to discharge, so I usually charge my bike whenever I get home from work, and I can ride the next day for about a few hours before the battery is drained. The brakes are also very responsive, I leave them on all the time because riding with the brakes on feels just as good as riding with them off.
