In 2017, the personal clothing and design brand (Wren + Glory) first occurred to Glory Bijou when she hand-painted a denim jacket for her daughter while friends and family raved endlessly about perfectionism and artistry of the designer while encouraging her to produce more custom-designed items made for them.

On realizing that her first design could become a hit and that it was gaining so much traction, she decided to partner with her sister Renee and both of them merged and created a fashion design startup that started selling hand-painted denim jacket designs off their social media.
